WHY RHINO ?
RHINO is a software that allows us to edit on both 3d and 2d models simultaneously. it helps us see what are 2d plans look and helps us understand and get a clearer view on the model we are modelling. RHINO is a mix of both SketchUp and AutoCAD
RHINO is actually good in doing more curved structures as compared to AutoCAD and especially compared to REVIT

3-extrude the rectangle by using "extrudecrv" command (extrude curve)
4-right click the two spheres icon and click on boolean difference
5- click on the extrusion you want to keep first then click enter then click on the extrusion you want to delete then click enter
